Prepare the iPhone

Factory Reset Required: The iPhone must be supervised, which requires a factory reset
Connect iPhone to the designated MacBook that will supervise the device
Open Apple Configurator 2 (AC2) on the MacBook
Enter the server credentials provided by your administrator
Create your own organization profile within AC2
Disable all phone setup steps in the configuration
Ensure the iPhone is paired only with this MacBook

The iPhone can only be supervised by one MacBook. Do not pair with any other computer.

Create ZeroAdmin Account

Open ZeroAdmin app or portal
Create a new account for your organization
Login using the credentials provided by your administrator
Your Zero Profile will be loaded automatically

Install Apps via ZeroHub

A self-service hub called ZeroHub will be installed automatically on the device
Open ZeroHub to see all whitelisted applications
Install the apps you need from the available list:

Zero Messenger

ZeroConnect

ZeroVault

ZeroStealth

ZeroBrowser

Signal

Device Tab & Information

Navigate to the Device tab in ZeroHub
View all device information including:
- License Key for ZeroDevice (easy copy/paste, reusable if logged out)
- Carrier Info and ICC ID for SIM tracking
- Remote Wipe for lost or stolen devices

The License Key can be reused if you ever logout. Keep it safe for future reference.

Each reseller has a dedicated support page
Your reseller's contact information will be displayed, including:
- ZeroID for secure contact
- WhatsApp, Signal, Threema, Telegram options

Activate Licenses

Once all apps are installed, open ZeroDevice first
Navigate to the License tab
Enter all license keys provided to you:
- Zero Messenger license
- ZeroVault license
- ZeroStealth license
- ZeroConnect license

After activating all licenses, your iPhone is fully configured and ready to use!

Enable OEM Unlock

Go to Settings → About Phone
Tap Build Number 7 times to enable Developer Options
Go to Settings → System → Developer Options
Enable OEM Unlocking
Power off the device
Hold Power + Volume Down to enter Fastboot mode

Unlocking the bootloader will factory reset your device. Back up any important data first.

Flash ZeroOS

Open a Chrome-based browser (Chrome, Edge, Brave) on your computer
Visit the Web Installer link provided separately by your administrator
Connect your Pixel to the computer via USB
Click Connect and allow the device to pair with the browser
Click Unlock Bootloader and confirm on the device
Click Download Release to fetch the latest ZeroOS build
Click Flash Release to install ZeroOS

The flashing process takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Do not disconnect the device.

Lock Bootloader

Once flashing is complete, the log will prompt you to lock the bootloader
Click the Lock Bootloader button on the web installer
Confirm on the device when prompted
The device will reboot into ZeroOS

Locking the bootloader is essential for security. Do not skip this step.

Activate Device

Once ZeroOS boots, complete the initial setup
Open ZeroAdmin on another device and create an account
Generate a QR code from ZeroAdmin
On your Pixel, scan the QR code to link the device
Follow the activation process on the device

Configure VPN

Go to Settings → Mobile Network
Open Wireguard IP Changer
Enter your VPN Code provided by your administrator
Tap Activate VPN
The app will automatically fetch and install all available VPN subscriptions

Your VPN is now active and protecting your connection.

Install Applications

Use your credentials to access the Private Appstore
Download the following apps:
- Zero Messenger - Secure messaging
- ZeroProtect - Device protection
- ZeroVault - Encrypted storage
For additional apps, use Aurora Store or Droidify
If needed, download the Sandboxed Play Store from the Appstore for better notification support

Your Pixel with ZeroOS is now fully configured and ready to use!
